right on the DVD. Below Are Photo Preparation Instructions
1. Separate photos into groups (sections for the
slideshow) that you want together. Put
each group in its own plastic baggie or envelope. Please try to create no more than 10 to 15 sections per slideshow. Please
contact me if more sections are needed. Some sections might be a few pictures long or
you might have only one long section, both options are OK. 2. Decide which group, in your presentation, is first,
second, third… etc. Mark the first
group’s envelope/ baggie as “A”. The
second group is “B”, third is “C”… etc. 3. Please also write on each of the envelopes /
baggies, (or have a note with the photos) the exact title that
will appear before that section of photos. Example:
“Our Family” or “Christmas 2006”
or “Johnny and Gloria” or “ Rita’s Family”.
4. Using a pen or pencil, clearly mark (on the photo’s back side) the first 1 or 2 photos from each section with the # 1 and 2 as these will be the first photos to appear in each section. If possible leave these first marked photos on the top of each section pile. The remainder of pictures will try to be shown in the order I receive, but only the first numbered ones are guaranteed in order. 5. Create a Slideshow Title on a separate piece of paper “Happy 75th Birthday! We love you dad!”. Print it very clearly. Also indicate that this is the Slideshow cover title so it does not get confused with section titles. Now paperclip or tape this paper to the photo that will be the DVD cover title image. The cover photo might already be in a section you’ve created… this is fine, attach the title paper to the photo within that baggie/envelope. 6. Select your music. Either from my list or your source… be sure to include your source with instructions of its title and which source its on (your CD). Make a list. 200 photos can play for 20 to 30 minutes, so select enough music for your number of photos. Designate on your list, which music: “must be first”, or “must be included”. If you would like your list to be played in a certain order, please note that too. Otherwise I will assume it is just a preferred list to work from. Note: The best music to use is usually happy and family friendly as those lyrics fit best with the photo variety. Contact me for my music selection. 7. Please make
sure photo groups cannot spill out and intermix with other unmarked
photos from other groups. Wrap in
rubber bands or tape down flaps/ openings. 8. Include payment of check or money order to
Derek Pedersen (or cash in person) with the package to be sent to: Derek
Pedersen 734
Avenida Cuarta , Delivery confirmation and insurance are recommended. Please include $6 for return shipping and $8 for each extra copy (designate the #). Ordering extra copies can be done later. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for finished product. |
